What To Expect
Visiting an Orthodox church for the first time can feel unfamiliar. At ELOMC, we strive to make every newcomer feel at home.
- Setting: Humble and intimate, designed for worship that is reverent, traditional, and welcoming to all.
- Attire: Modest and respectful clothing is typical (no shorts; shoulders covered).
- Length: Services vary in length. The Divine Liturgy, our Sunday service, lasts around 90 minutes. There is always fellowship directly after a service.
- Participation: You are welcome to observe the services; however, the sacraments are only reserved for Orthodox Christians. Most people coming to an Orthodox church for the first time may find it quite different from other Christian worship. Because of this, we do our best to assign a member of the community to be by your side to answer any questions you may have.
If you would like personal guidance before attending, we encourage you to schedule a call or meeting with Father Gregory.

Hospitality and Fellowship
After services, our community gathers for coffee, simple food, and conversation. This is often where visitors feel most comfortable asking questions and getting to know members of the parish. We value hospitality as part of our mission—no one leaves as a stranger.
